Lawyer

Primary focus and experience

As an associate attorney at Beth Silverman & Associates, I focus exclusively on family law, representing clients in domestic relations and juvenile courts. I understand that family law matters are deeply personal and that in family law disputes, having a strong legal advocate can make all the difference. Every client, every family, and every case is unique—and I tailor my approach accordingly to ensure thoughtful, individualized representation.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Studies and Human Rights Studies, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Dayton in 2021. I obtained my Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2024. My passion for family and juvenile law grew from a deep interest in how legal systems affect people's lives—especially children and families navigating instability and trauma.

During law school, I immersed myself in family law practice through a two-year judicial internship with the Hamilton County Juvenile Court. There, I gained hands-on experience with custody, support, dependency, and delinquency matters. I observed firsthand how courts weigh the best interests of the child and how issues such as trauma, mental health challenges, and complex family dynamics influence judicial decision-making. This experience strengthened my commitment to legal advocacy that prioritizes long-term stability and well-being for children and their families.

Beyond my legal training, my background in psychology and mental health provides me with a unique lens for understanding the full picture of a family law matter. I have worked with individuals of all ages facing complex mental, psychological, and physical health challenges. I understand how a number of conditions, like anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders can affect daily life, interpersonal relationships, and family dynamics. I recognize how mental health concerns—whether affecting my client, their child, or another party—can significantly affect parenting and communication, and can deeply influence legal outcomes. I consider not only the legal aspects of each case, but also the broader emotional and psychological dynamics at play, weighing how the mental states of all parties involved may influence the optimal course of action. I aim to integrate psychological insight with strategic legal advocacy to achieve the best possible results.

With experience in both the courtroom and the mental health space, I take a holistic approach to representation, considering legal strategy alongside the emotional and psychological needs of each client and their family. Whether through negotiation, mediation, or litigation, I help individuals and families navigate difficult transitions with clarity and confidence.

A lifelong Cincinnatian, I am proud to serve my community both in and out of the courtroom. I regularly volunteer with the Hamilton County Family Law Clinic and am an active member of the Cincinnati Bar Association. I remain committed to ongoing professional development to ensure my clients receive informed, effective, and empathetic representation.
